Stack
Django 5, Postgres, Celery.
No exotic dependencies — Django 5.1 on Python 3.11, Postgres for storage, Celery + Redis for scheduled jobs like induction-expiry checks. Each app ships its own Dockerfile and requirements.
Architecture
Four apps, one identity provider.
Bookings, HR/safety, chemical inventory and auth run as separate Django projects behind a shared nginx gateway — AuthHub issues a signed token the other three trust, so there's one login, not four.
Deploy
docker compose up, and it's running.
Every service — web, worker, Postgres, nginx — is defined in one Compose file. Bring your own domain and TLS termination (Traefik, Caddy, or your own nginx) and you're self-hosting.
